IMHO, consulting 18 sets of slides spanning all the course subjects in order to answer the final exam questions is quite worst than consulting a single pdf file.
So, I merged the 18 sets of slides of LFD into a single pdf file with about 10 MB. I can make it available to the fellow students through Dropbox, in case Professor Yaser agrees. I'll delete the file after the final deadline if needed. So, I wait for a permission from Prof. Yaser. Regards TS EDIT: Prof. Yaser kindly accepted the proposal (see reply below). So there are two links, with or without bookmarks. Obviously the one with bookmarks (the bold one) is much more useful :-) https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9722274/LFDall.pdf https://dl.dropbox.com/u/9722274/LFDallBookMark.pdf PPS: Keith (see message below) made a smaller pdf with quite a lot more bookmarks than the ones in my version. I did the same thing and added bookmarks to all of the outline topics and review pages. I also reduced the file size to 6,739kb using pdf optimizer. I find it very useful! My version is here http://ivyriver.net/Learning_from_Da...d_Lectures.pdf

Dear Prof. Yaser,
Thank you very much. I posted the links as an edit of the original message. It took me some time to craft a perl script that merges the 18 lectures with bookmarks, which is a more handy format. Kind Regards. TS |

Thanks Tony. you got permission to do this while I was discouraged by the official statement about course materials and did not ask. I happen to have Acrobat Pro, no code needed.

Thanks Keith and Tony. And in case people haven't stumbled onto this yet, here is an index to the videos: http://work.caltech.edu/library/
