Default Question re: Notation for PLA Question

Hi,

Playing a bit of catchup -- just finished watching both lectures and starting the homework.

I must have missed something in the lectures or my math is more rusty than I realized, but what does the notation X = [-1, 1] x [-1, 1] mean??

Thanks!

Paul

It is the the square on the 2-dimensinal plane from -1 to +1 on both coordinates, i.e., all points (x_1,x_2) such that 1-\le x_1 \le 1 and 1-\le x_2 \le 1.
