Hello all:
In this question we must aproximate a ellipse with a straight-line?
Seems that we construct the target function as a ellipse, but the question says we must make linear regression whitout the transformation.
I'm little confused with this... Can someone explain to me?

Yes, this is to contrast with the next problem where you use a nonlinear surface.
