Ideas of applications of machine learning in emacs

I am an online student, and I am looking for ideas about the applications of machine learning in Emacs (**into a text editor more general**).

The students inside the campus have for sure a list of projects todo, and chose to make some one practically.

I am looking for ideas about some great application of machine learning in emacs... I wish to do something practically in emacs, using machine learning, and I have no idea for now...
