I am not sure if this comment belongs here or anywhere in the forum, but I need to congratulate the people at Caltech for this incredible accomplishment,
http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.cfm?release=2012-232 . I have many fond memories about Caltech's achievements in terms of solar system exploration (I remember vividly how the Voyager missions made the headlines every time they reached a new milestone). These things made me dream that one day I wanted to be a scientist. Things didn't turn out as I expected (since I ended up going to grad school somewhere else and working in computers), but these feats still cause me great awe. A few years ago I was able to buy in Amazon's secondary market this amazing documentary that tells the Voyager story
