So, I have narrowed it down to that one statement or "none of the above". Regardless, I am very confident that there are not two true statements in the list.

I find myself in a similar situation! I spent a couple of hours trying to come up with the counter example to no avail. I then went analytical and I see no easy way to prove it. Still 4 days, so there is time for inspiration
