I suppose I'm interpreting "noise" rather loosely? When I said white noise maps to constant in the frequency domain, I was thinking Gaussian noise, and in which case, we have a case where the output can be characterized as a PDF, and hence not quite "noise" since it can be probabilistically characterized?
