I have many fond memories about Caltech's achievements in terms of solar system exploration (I remember vividly how the Voyager missions made the headlines every time they reached a new milestone). These things made me dream that one day I wanted to be a scientist. Things didn't turn out as I expected (since I ended up going to grad school somewhere else and working in computers), but these feats still cause me great awe. A few years ago I was able to buy in Amazon's secondary market this amazing documentary that tells the Voyager story http://www.amazon.com/Infinite-Voyag...ail+on+voyager . I still watch it from time to time.
Thank you. I had forgotten about it, then when I went to campus last night I had hard time parking, which is unusual for a Sunday night, as there was a big crowd there. At least the rover has a lot of space to park.
