The regularizer can be used for any domain. It just has a nice interpretation in the
![[-1,+1]](/vblatex/img/335c2d7c2ccfc1766a245197da8da7c8-1.gif "[-1,+1]")
domain because of the properties of Legendre polynomials in that domain.
