There is announcement about Machine Learning conference held in Berlin in October 2015.
The conference features Professor V.Vapnik and his novel theory "Intelligent Learning": Quote:

From Prof. Vapnik's webpage, it appears to be allowing the "teacher" to provide the learning algorithm more versatile information. Given that there is no paper on that yet, I guess we'd have to wait for the presentation and see.
