Exercise 2.8

For part b) of this exercise, I'm a little unclear on what is meant by "model". Namely, can we simply consider a finite hypothesis set and enumerate and describe each member of that set? Or does the word "model" here imply that we need to consider some parameterized set of functions with common form (e.g. linear model can be described as all functions with with common form - dot product - parameterized by a weight vector w)?

Any set of hypotheses would qualify as a model.
